About the Course
Insurance is a means of protection from financial loss. It is a form of risk management, primarily used to hedge against the risk of a contingent or uncertain loss. Being a law student it is very necessary to understand insurance law because there are many scope for law students. The main objective of this course is to understand the need, origin and development of insurance business, to have the overview of the general and special nature of insurance, to understand the concept, role and nature of Insurance contract and to have general understating of emerging areas of insurance.
